In-Ground
EV Charger.

Sits flush with the tarmac. Buses drive over it. Every parking bay becomes a charging bay — with nothing added above ground.

The charger lives in the ground. The depot stays exactly as it is.

The NSNF0015GRC is a pit-mounted connector unit installed flush with the depot surface. A hardened steel cover — rated for full double-decker axle loads — sits level with the tarmac. Buses park over it as normal. No bollards, no exclusion zones, no layout changes.

Power delivery runs from the Master Unit to the Satellite Terminal via overhead DC bus cables, then down to the in-ground connector via conduit. All high-voltage electronics stay in the plant room — never at surface level.

The right choice for these depot conditions.

Tight bay layouts
Where above-ground hardware would reduce clearance for vehicle manoeuvring or pedestrian access. In-ground eliminates all surface conflicts.
Depot renovation projects
Resurfacing or bay reconfiguration is the lowest-cost window to install in-ground units. Civil works coordinate directly with your principal contractor.
Open-air depots
IP65 rated — fully waterproof and sealed. Designed for outdoor operation without any weatherproofing enclosure at bay level.
Mixed connector depots
Connects to the same Satellite Terminal as drop-down and side-mount connectors. One Master Unit can serve bays with different connector formats.
High-turnover operations
No cable to manage between vehicles. The connector recesses beneath the tarmac cover when not in use — no handling steps between sessions.
OZEV & ZEBRA funded sites
Neutron manages the grant application alongside the installation. OZEV Depot Charging Grant covers up to 75% of eligible capital costs.

Part of a complete depot stack.

The NSNF0015GRC is a connector point — not a standalone charger. Power conversion happens in the Master Unit, away from the vehicle bays. The Satellite Terminal at each bay cluster distributes to multiple connectors, including in-ground, drop-down, and side-mount formats.

This means one infrastructure decision covers every bay in your depot — regardless of which connector format each bay requires.
